We were approached by our client who wanted us to create a ‘work from home survival kit’ for their staff as due to COVID-19 their entire office workforce of over 300 people were relocated to work from home. They wanted to create a work from home kit that would house many elements, with the purpose of brightening up their employee’s day when they landed on their doormats but to also contain may useful elements to help people adapt to working from home.
Employee wellbeing during these unprecedented times was so important to them and it was clear this was in their minds when these kits were developed. They wanted consistency with all employees making sure they were all working in the same manner and also making sure they took the necessary time for breaks. We soon thought of a checklist which would cover not only work but also home life. Our design team were engaged to create bespoke collateral which included these daily checklist pads, giving pointers for each day and to dos like check in with your manager. They created a HITT workout using a personal trainer which we created a cheat sheet for encouraging employees to get active before each day. For all the design elements, we gave our suggestions on flow of text and our recommendations on how to brand using client’s logos and graphics which we had created.
We took care of the sourcing of all items, their design and printing, we then created the perfect box to house the items. From initial brief the customer handed the complete project over to us to take care of. Once the packs were ready to go, we handled the fulfilment and distribution of these packs to all individual employee addresses. Within 3 weeks the packs were landing on door steps across the UK.
